We are currently seeking a skilled Component Assembly Technician to join a dynamic manufacturing team at our client’s state-of-the-art facility in Corwen. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to a thriving production environment and make a meaningful impact.
THE ROLE
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Component Assembly Technician to support the Production Planning and Components Programming departments.
Operate and Program Profile Cutting Machines: Plan and program work on advanced profile cutting machines to produce high-quality components with optimal material utilisation.
Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with the Profile Department and team leaders to ensure safe and efficient machine operations while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
Drive Process Improvements: Engage at the factory floor level to enhance workflow, improve part quality, and streamline material handling processes.
Manage Production Schedules: Sort and prioritise nests for the Profile Department, handle drawing revisions, and interpret instructions to resolve issues effectively.
Liaise with Stakeholders: Coordinate with hauliers and provide detailed reports to management to ensure seamless operations.
Maintain High Standards: Proactively plan to prevent and resolve issues, ensuring accuracy and adherence to strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Uphold KPIs: Meet key performance indicators (KPIs) by working within adherence schedules and demonstrating a commitment to quality, productivity, and safety.

YOU
Experience: A background in engineering, production, or CNC operations is highly desirable. Experience with profile cutting machines or similar manufacturing equipment is a plus.
Qualifications: A relevant qualification in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred (e.g., NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent).
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with database applications for managing and updating large datasets. Familiarity with CAD software or nesting programs is advantageous.
