Unqualified Teaching Assistants - Full time!
Hours:8am - 3:30pm - Mon - Fri
Pay Rate: £106 and up based on experience!
Start Date: ASAP (after passing background checks)
Duties
* Provide support both one on one and in groups to students with diverse SEND needs, helping them overcome these barriers and be effectively engaged in lesson
* Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their social skills and well-being.
* Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create an inclusive classroom environment.
* Support students during lessons, helping them engage with the curriculum effectively.
* Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as necessary.
* Employ effective communication strategies to encourage students' participation and confidence in learning activities.
* Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills related to special education.
Requirements
* Experience working with children or people with learning disabilities, particularly those with special educational needs or physical disabilities.
* Strong communication skills and confident with a range of communication methods
* Alternate education qualifications in education or special education is desirable.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
* Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and resilience when working with children facing emotional challenges.
