Exciting opportunity for a Streetlighting Inspector An excellent opportunity has arisen for a dependable and detail-oriented Streetlighting Night Inspector to support my client's highways lighting team across Leicestershire. This is a temporary contract role expected to last around 3 months, or until allocated funding is fully utilised. It's a perfect fit for someone with proven experience in streetlighting and inspection work, seeking flexible, independent night-time hours in a public sector setting. This role plays a key part in maintaining road safety and compliance by ensuring that illuminated road signs across the county are present and functioning correctly. Working independently at night, the successful candidate will complete a high volume of on-site inspections using a provided work vehicle and streetlighting inventory. Each shift runs for 7.5 hours from dusk to dawn, with the vehicle returned to base after completion.
