Detailed job description and main responsibilities A detailed job description and main responsibilities are within the attached job description attached under supporting documents Person specification Qualifications Essential criteria Entry on the GMC Specialist Register Entry on the GMC Specialist Register via • CCT or CESR (CP) - proposed CCT/CESR (CP) date must be within 6 months of interview • CESR or • European Community Rights Professional and Multidisciplinary Team Working Essential criteria Experience of post graduate and undergraduate teaching and training at an appropriate level Desirable criteria Experience of supervising specialist / core and foundation trainees Academic Achievements, Research, Publications Essential criteria Effective participation in clinical audit Desirable criteria Publications in clinical journals Clinical Experience Essential criteria Extensive experience in managing Pelvic and Acetabular trauma as part of a major trauma service Evidence of completion of approved fellowship training in Pelvic and Acetabular sub specialty Ability to take full and independent responsibility for clinical care of patients ATLS/European Trauma/ or equivalent Trauma Course in last four years Desirable criteria Evidence of completion of approved fellowship training in Hip/other elective specialty interest.
