What will you be doing?
We are seeking a Process Engineer to support new model introductions and process development within Body-in-White (BIW) assembly facilities. This role plays a vital part in future-facing BIW delivery projects, supporting a cutting-edge advanced manufacturing strategy.
Working closely with Product Development, Facility & Tooling vendors, and Production Operations teams, you'll be at the forefront of delivering innovative processes to meet world-class quality, safety, and efficiency standards. Your main responsibilities will be:
* Conduct and manage Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (Process FMEA) to identify and mitigate potential risks in the BIW production process.
* Take ownership of the overall launch schedule, updating it regularly with input from key cross-functional teams
* Develop and coordinate daily build activities across all launch stages, ensuring smooth collaboration between internal teams and external partners
* Prepare and manage supplier RFQs and handle associated procurement tasks
* Oversee launch-phase timelines to ensure critical targets around safety, quality, delivery, and cost are achieved
* Partner with process engineers to identify potential commissioning challenges and put effective risk mitigation plans in place
* Provide active support during early-stage launch activities, including NEPT builds.
* Perform other tasks as required to help ensure seamless and successful project implementation.

Qualifications
Experience, skills and qualifications required:
* Engineering degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Mechatronics.
* Proven experience in launching and delivering BIW/Bodyshop assembly lines.
* Strong programme management skills and fluency with tools such as Microsoft Project or P6.
* Experience with BIW manufacturing, tooling, and robotic welding environments.
* Advanced problem-solving skills, with ability to investigate and resolve launch and station-level issues.
* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Catia.
* Strong stakeholder communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
