This Manufacturing Engineer role will support production and quality improvement activities across the site, helping to optimise manufacturing performance, reduce process variation, and support new product introduction projects.The successful Manufacturing Engineer will work closely with production, suppliers, and customers to deliver robust manufacturing processes that meet industry and customer standards within a highly regulated environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and improve manufacturing processes using Lean Manufacturing principlesSupport New Product Introduction activities and process validationInvestigate production and quality issues using structured problem-solving methodsAnalyse manufacturing data and identify continuous improvement opportunitiesMaintain PFMEA documentation, Control Plans, and standard operating proceduresParticipate in quality, process, and EHS audits across the manufacturing cellSupport the specification and validation of tooling, gauges, and capital equipmentWork with suppliers and customers to resolve manufacturing and quality concernsSkills & Experience RequiredDegree qualified in Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical EngineeringPrevious experience within precision manufacturing or engineering environmentsStrong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologiesKnowledge of APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, and root cause analysis toolsAbility to interpret engineering drawings and geometric tolerancesExperience using CAD software and advanced Excel functionsKnowledge of AS9100, ISO14001, or aerospace quality standards beneficialStrong communication and cross-functional teamwork skillsThis Manufacturing Engineer opportunity offers the chance to join a highly technical engineering business with excellent long-term career prospects and involvement in advanced aerospace manufacturing projects.TPBN1_UKTJ
