Our client, a growing Manchester‑based business, is looking for a Junior Account Executive to join their team and focus on generating new business opportunities through outbound outreach. This is an entry‑level role with no prior experience required — just excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to pick up the phone and make things happen. Full training and support will be provided.
The Role
This is a phone‑based role focused on outbound outreach. You’ll be responsible for identifying potential clients, making the first contact, and qualifying leads for the wider sales or account team. You’ll gain hands‑on experience in business development, lead generation, and relationship building — the foundation of a successful career in commercial roles.
Key Responsibilities
* Make outbound calls to prospective clients to introduce the business and its services
* Qualify leads and set up meetings or follow‑up calls for senior team members
* Research and build prospect lists using available tools and platforms
* Maintain accurate records of activity and outcomes in the CRM
* Follow up on warm leads and previous conversations to keep pipelines active
* Work towards individual and team‑based outreach targets
