Assessor in Health and Social Care
Location: North Wales based (interested candidate must live in or near North Wales)
Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
This role is subject to a DBS check. The cost of the DBS check will be met by the company.
Core Responsibilities
* Deliver training programmes to learners, ensuring high standards.
* Travel within a regional area to assess learners in the workplace.
* Complete ILPs and plan learning routes for individuals.
* Reference and mark workplace evidence for key skills.
* Maintain learner attendance records and contact hours, ensuring audit compliance.
* Contribute to planning, monitoring, and achieving performance targets.
* Arrange further training and deliver in-house support as needed.
* Keep records of clients' achievements and meet performance criteria set by awarding bodies.
Skills and Experience - Essential
* Experience in training delivery within the relevant area.
* Experience with Work-Based Learning and Award Body Practices.
* A1 Assessor Award or equivalent qualification.
* Assessor experience.
* ESW Communication Level 2 and Application of Number Level 2.
* Occupational and apprenticeship delivery experience.
* Full driving license and own vehicle.
Desirable
* City & Guilds 9300 Level 2 in supporting adults and young people in essential skills (or willing to work towards).
