Our client is looking to hire a Logistics Coordinator to work in the logistics/transport team of a large aggregate supplier, to fulfil internal and external customer orders. It is a fast paced environment working with company drivers, external hauliers, internal and external customers. Experience within a UK transport and logistics environment is essential.

Working Pattern
Hours of work are Monday to Friday between 07:00 & 16:30
Reporting to: Logistics Manager / Assistant Logistics Manager
Key Responsibilities:
* Planning and scheduling work for vehicles/drivers
* Receiving and coordinating customer orders and enquiries
* Planning incoming materials, outgoing orders and internal transfers of stock
* Utilising the fleet to maximize efficiency of routes and earnings
* Sourcing and managing contract hauliers
* Administration associated with invoices, vehicle earnings and drivers wages
* Safe practices
* Managing visitors, all vehicles entering depot
* Promoting the core values of the company
