To be responsible for the delivery of a range of services under the Property Service portfolio, including leading the day to day effectiveness of Housing Repairs, the DLO repairs operation and servicing/cyclical works. This includes seeking to continually improve levels of efficiency and productivity, including optimising resources and leading with service level fluctuating demands.
The post will also lead and manage specialist programmes such as cyclical painting, domestic servicing programmes, specialist maintenance, housing disrepair and damp, HAVs management, and out of hours response.
Engage in organisational change activities and actively look for ways to improve service efficiency in Housing Repairs and develop a continuous improvement approach in service delivery. Actively support and lead Housing Repairs through change, and maintain morale and productivity. The post will lead and be a role model in change management and changing cultures in a way that successfully improves the repairs and services going forward.
The post holder will report to Head of Service, Property but will be potentially matrix management across all Heads of Service within Housing and Assets Services. The Repairs and Services Lead will work closely with Voids & Decarbonisation Lead and Investment and Delivery Lead.
