Commercial Finance Project Manager
Join our Smart Infrastructure Division as Commercial Project Manager. Reporting into the Commercial Manager, you will be a key member of the Project delivery team in the delivery of Governance, Controlling, Forecasting, Risks & Opportunities & Contract Management.

You’ll create impact by:
* Maintaining appropriate project cost control methodologies to ensure that project outcomes are met and that any cost impacts are identified quickly.
* Reviewing customer and sub-contractor contract requirements from an execution perspective, leading on payment applications, claim and change order management to ensure the business isn’t exposed commercially.
* Effective Risk & Opportunity management, not only the identification but the tracking and mitigation to improve P&L performance.
* Providing transparency with monthly forecasting of project financials across all key financial KPIs – ensuring a high level of accuracy is maintained.
* Involvement in contractual negotiation with the customer, ensuring any contractual clauses and liabilities are within the business Limits of Authority.
* Ensuring the appropriate level of Governance is in place for Projects of responsibility, including supporting both internal & external auditing.
You’ll build on your existing expertise, including:
* Previous experience in a similar role, with a qualification in a financial / accounting field or equivalent.
* A multifaceted individual who can adapt to an environment where the customer expectation & type of project we deliver can change rapidly.
* Detailed understanding of project controlling, accounting / finance (FRGs), contract & subcontract management.
* Experience of working with project teams supporting multiple projects and project managers.
* Confident communication and presentation skills, with a customer centric focus.
* Experience negotiating NEC or JCT contracts with customers
