Senior Clinical Pharmacist - Neonates

We are offering an excellent opportunity for a senior clinical pharmacist to continue to develop our service to a Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit within a purpose built Women and Children's Development at Royal Oldham Hospital.
This appointment will offer you a fantastic opportunity to experience many aspects of neonatal services as part of the MDT and to work in a nurturing and dedicated team with excellent training opportunities. Our team has a wealth of clinical knowledge in a wide range of clinical specialities.
The Royal Oldham Hospital has a £44m women and children's facility that includes antenatal wards, labour delivery rooms, a midwife-led birth centre, obstetric theatres as well as our Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Main duties of the job
As the Senior Clinical Pharmacist for Neonates, you will be responsible for the management and provision of clinical pharmacy services to this speciality at Royal Oldham Hospital and support implementation and compliance with medicines management policies as part of the MDT.
You will be responsible for supervising the activity and training of supporting pharmacists, pre-registration trainee pharmacists and technical staff providing an opportunity to develop your leadership and management skills.
We are looking for a Pharmacist with a commitment to improving patient safety, medicines expenditure and patient flow through innovation and integration with pharmacy, medical, nursing and management staff.
