Job Description
Assist in the daily preparation of food for a variety of meal plans at various establishments across East Ayrshire to support the promotion, delivery, and integration of the Council’s key objectives, including the Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement, and Best Value.
Requirements
The duties involve regulated work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants will be required to become a PVG Scheme member or undergo a PVG Scheme Record Update before a formal offer of employment is made. PVG records are updated regularly, and any relevant disclosures will be discussed with the applicant prior to employment.

The Individual
This is a temporary, part-time, term-time position based at Kilmaurs Primary School. The hourly rate is £12.96 for 12.5 hours per week, working Monday to Friday from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm. The post is temporary until 30th April 2026.
