What You'll Be Doing: For Pallet Network Role: Multi-drop deliveries within the local area, ensuring goods reach customers safely and on time. Conducting vehicle checks and reporting any issues to keep everything running smoothly. Providing excellent customer service, representing the company with a positive attitude. Completing delivery paperwork accurately and efficiently.
For General Haulage Role: Transporting general haulage loads across local routes, ensuring safe and timely deliveries. Performing vehicle checks to maintain road safety and reporting any issues. Maintaining excellent customer relations, offering a professional and friendly approach. Accurately completing delivery documentation as required.
What We're Looking For: At least 1 year's experience driving Class 1 (HGV) vehicles. A valid Class 1 (HGV) license and CPC qualification. Experience in multi-drop deliveries (for the pallet network role) and general haulage (for the haulage role). A good understanding of driver's hours regulations and road safety. Excellent communication skills and a customer-first approach. Reliability, punctuality, and a flexible attitude to working hours. Physical fitness, as some manual handling may be required.
