FIRST BASE Ground Screws is looking for a Business Developer to strengthen our position in the UK.
What's expected?
In this role, you are responsible for identifying and creating new growth opportunities to increase the company's revenue and market share. This involves researching market trends, building strategic partnerships, managing existing key-client relationships, and co-developing strategies to expand the business into new markets with our broad range of products and services. The main part of your mission will be to spot potential users of our products — ground screws, installation machines, and tools — and to proactively approach them, both through cold calling and door-to-door visits. You'll also represent FIRST BASE at trade fairs and events, and work closely with our technical specialists and inside sales team in the Netherlands to deliver the service and reliability our customers expect.
Key tasks
* Develop and manage accounts in the construction sector.
* Provide technical advice on ground screw foundations and installation methods.
* Identify and close new business opportunities.
* Represent FIRST BASE at trade fairs and events.
* Collaborate closely with our management and technical and inside sales colleagues.
What you bring
* Minimum 2 years of sales experience in construction or a related technical industry.
* Strong communication skills and a talent for relationship building.
* A go-getter mentality with a practical mindset – you know what matters on site.
* Willingness to travel across the UK (Birmingham–London corridor preferred).
