Role: Sales & Events Office Manager
Location: Windemere
Salary: Up to £36k + Bonus package
Are you a dynamic Sales & Events leader with a passion for high end hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences?

We are seeking a Sales & Events Office Manager to lead a small team and drive revenue across the hotel departments, taking full ownership of the reservations and events sales cycle at this iconic Lake District property.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Sales Coordinators to deliver exceptional performance.
Manage and optimise all inbound reservations, intimate events, dining, and guest experiences.
Develop and implement revenue-driving strategies to maximise occupancy and event conversion across all distribution channels.
Ensure accurate forecasting, reporting, and analytical insights to support monthly performance reviews.
Actively promote the hotel in the local area to enhance sales opportunities, drive repeat business, and strengthen client relationships.
Oversee all aspects of the booking process to ensure a seamless, professional, and revenue-focused approach.
Lead weekly function meetings and contribute to the commercial strategy sessions.
Champion post-event feedback to enhance service quality and operational excellence.
About You
You embody warm hospitality and a meticulous attention to detail. You have experience working in an events or reservations office at supervisor or managerial level and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
You will also bring:
Proven leadership experience within a hospitality /events role with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
Strong commercial acumen with confidence working with KPIs, forecasting tools, and sales reporting.
Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
A passion for crafting memorable guest experiences and building strong internal and external relationships.
Ideally, previous experience within 4 / 5-star hotels is desirable.
Knowledge of Reservation systems is advantageous.
