The Role A respected multi-disciplinary construction consultancy is looking to grow its Building Regulation Principal Designer (BR PD) team in Slough. This role has emerged following the Building Safety Act 2022 and focuses on design coordination and Building Regulations compliance. You’ll be responsible for ensuring design work meets regulatory standards throughout the design and construction process. You’ll work closely with architects, designers, and project teams using established systems and compliance trackers to deliver coordinated, compliant, and well-documented projects. Key Responsibilities * Lead design coordination in relation to Building Regulations compliance. * Advise project teams on Building Regulations and design compliance requirements. * Review design information and track progress using internal compliance systems. * Liaise with design teams, clients, and statutory bodies to ensure all regulatory requirements are met. * Contribute to the development and improvement of BR PD processes within the consultancy.
