Role
The role of an Industry Lead is to lead, expand, and elevate a specific industry vertical within the UK enterprise and corporate mid‑market B2B landscape. It involves managing a high‑performing team to achieve targets, driving new customer acquisition, and growing existing accounts.
What will I be doing?
Find
* Identify growth opportunities within your industry vertical — know the competitors and stay ahead
* Hire high-potential talent to drive sales
* Engage with Microsoft and counterparts to maximise the ANS product set in their accounts
* Ensure go-to-market solutions are relevant to customers
* Work with ANS Marketing to organise events, determine topics, and ensure the right people attend
* Collaborate with other ANS Sales teams to maximise product penetration
Win
* Set stretching but realistic targets for the team to maximise growth in new business and existing accounts
* Contribute to sales targets as needed
* Follow up with event attendees to close new or grow existing business
* Deliver the annual numbers for MS and PS
Grow
* Inspire and motivate the team to grow and develop enterprise and mid-market accounts within the vertical
* Coach and upskill team members to meet numbers, remove blockers, and improve performance
* Oversee delivery throughout the project and own the commercial relationship
* Ensure smooth transitions into delivery and into service delivery
* Provide a single point of contact and engagement plans with customers and Microsoft
* Develop an ANS product and service penetration matrix for each account — baselines and opportunities
* Work with the CSM and CSA, including attending service reviews and project updates, to ensure strong customer experience
* Facilitate renewals with the CSM, CSA, and renewals team
* Understand the landscape, identify share of wallet across services, and own actions
* Collaborate with Microsoft account teams on new logos and existing accounts

* Strong background in solution selling, especially in IT, SaaS, CRM, and managed services
* Deep understanding of software markets and customer-centric industries
* Skilled in developing Enterprise and Mid-Market routes and driving new business
* Entrepreneurial mindset — takes full ownership of targets and results
* Quick learner, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple roles
* Experience in executive-level presentations and positioning CRM solutions
* Classically trained in sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, SPIN, TAS)
* Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills
* Effective at managing internal and external relationships across the sales cycle
* Familiar with vertical-specific markets and strategic selling to BDM
