Responsibilities
* Produce a range of artisan breads, pastries and baked goods following recipe cards and quality standards
* Mix, knead, shape, prove and bake – ensuring consistency, precision and creativity
* Monitor oven temperatures, dough development and baking times to deliver perfect results
* Maintain clean, organised workspaces and uphold the highest food hygiene and safety standards
* Work closely with the Head Baker
* Contribute to new recipe ideas and seasonal specials
* Early starts giving you the daytime off. Working 5 nights per week with weekends off
About you
* Previous experience as a Baker, Bread Baker or Pastry Baker (minimum 1 year)
* Strong practical skills in dough handling, shaping and baking
* A genuine passion for artisan baking and craftsmanship
* Good knowledge of food hygiene, CCPs and kitchen safety
* Reliable, organised and ready to work early shifts
* A team player with the energy, ambition and drive to grow into a senior role
* Must have own transport unless you live within walking distance
