Hours: per week
Shift Pattern: Monday–Friday, with flexibility required to support business needs

We’re looking for a skilled and driven Sous Chef to join our Corporate Services team in Leven. Reporting to the Head Chef, you’ll help deliver high-quality food and support the smooth, efficient running of our kitchen operations.
What You’ll Do
* Support the Head Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations and deputise in their absence
* Lead food preparation, presentation, and service to consistently high standards
* Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety requirements
* Contribute to menu planning, stock management, ordering, and cost control
* Supervise and develop kitchen staff to maintain strong team performance
* Manage catering for special events, including occasional out-of-hours functions
* Build and maintain positive client and customer relationships
What You Bring
* Professional cookery qualifications ( NVQ/SVQ, City & Guilds, Diploma in Catering)
* Experience in a similar role with leadership and organisational capability
* Confident in managing stock, financial targets, and kitchen compliance
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Adaptable, flexible, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
* IT literate, with the ability to use kitchen management and reporting systems
