Job Description
* Develop and implement procurement strategies to align with organisational goals.
* Manage supplier relationships, ensuring optimal performance and value for money.
* Oversee tendering processes and evaluate supplier bids effectively.
* Ensure compliance with procurement regulations and internal policies.
* Monitor and report on procurement performance metrics to stakeholders.
* Collaborate with other departments to forecast procurement needs.
* Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the supply chain.
* Provide guidance and support to team members within the procurement function.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Procurement Lead should have:
* Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management within a similar sector.
* Strong knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices.
* Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
* The ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.
* A relevant professional qualification or equivalent experience.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with stakeholders.
