They are looking for an experienced Senior Event Manager to join their team in Surrey. You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of events across the UK and internationally. The position is full-time and offers the option of hybrid working following a successful probation period.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF SENIOR EVENT MANAGER:
● Lead the planning and delivery of a wide range of events, including senior management conferences, corporate social events, incentives, charity fundraisers, and private parties
● Source and recommend suitable venues in the UK and internationally
● Develop creative and compelling event proposals tailored to client requirements
● Oversee all aspects of pre-event planning and be the lead on-site during live events
● Create and manage detailed project timelines and budgets
● Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers and partners
● Identify and pursue new business opportunities
● Embed sustainability into every stage of event planning by identifying and recommending the most responsible and environmentally friendly options available
REQUIREMENTS OF SENIOR EVENT MANAGER:
● Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing end-to-end events
● Proven organisational and project management skills
● Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
● Experience leading teams and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels
● Creative thinker with a passion for innovation in event design and delivery
● International event experience is desirable but not essential.
