Overview
Broomfield secured a ‘Good’ Ofsted rating in March 2023. Inspectors praised our high ambitions and the pride staff have in working together to support pupils’ communication, independence, and emotional regulation. We are a generic special school serving students aged 2‑19 across four sites – the main site, Windmill Primary, Rodillian Secondary, and the Future Steps Post‑16 partnership at the White Rose Business Park.
Role
We are looking for an Educarer committed to making a difference in young people’s lives. The successful candidate will provide medical support that enables pupils to access education at our Future Steps Post‑16 site. While previous school experience is not essential, we seek candidates with transferable skills who are willing to invest in our pupils and support the on‑site NHS Nursing Team by managing and administering daily medical interventions. In return you will receive comprehensive continuous professional development and support from a professional, knowledgeable, and friendly staff team.

Additional Information
Pay scale level: 12‑17.
Hours: Full time, term time only + 5 days (39 weeks per year). Working hours: 37 hours per week.
Reports to: NHS Nursing Team / Assistant Headteacher (Pastoral) / Head Teacher.
