Pre-Delivery Inspector
Location: Oswestry
Contract Length: TEMP
Pay: 13.31 per hour
Position Summary
Pre-Delivery Inspections on a wide range of platform lifts, ensuring all quality and safety checks are completed and recorded prior to customer delivery. All tasks must be carried out safely and to a high standard.
Responsibilities of a Pre-Delivery Inspector
* Quality assurance and safety checks on completed platforms prior to delivery to customers or other depots.
* Identify and resolve issues on products.
* Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately.
* Prep, clean, and ready equipment for shipment.
* Inspect surfaces for minor paint chips/scratches and complete touch-ups.
* Maintain a clean and organised work area.
* Report safety issues immediately to management.
* Support team members to meet deadlines and maintain high standards.
* Carry out full function tests.
* Other duties as assigned.
Educational Requirements
* NVQ Level 2/3 in motor mechanics or similar.
* Good standard of English and Mathematics.
* IPAF 3a/3b, LOLER, FLT or other access-industry certifications (desirable).
Desired Experience
* Minimum 12 months in a similar environment.
* Strong mechanical knowledge
* Detail-orientated with the ability to identify and resolve issues.
* Able to work independently or as part of a team.
* Able to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
