Client: Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council - Children and Family Services (SEND) Contract Type: Temporary (Initial 3 months) Hours: Full time – Monday – Friday (09:00 – 17:00) About the Role The Plan Coordinator will be responsible for implementing statutory duties as set out in the relevant legislation on behalf of the Local Authority for Children and Young People with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND). The role requires effective case management, collaboration with families and professionals, and ensuring compliance with the SEND Code of Practice and related regulations. Key Responsibilities Provide statutory advice and guidance relating to the SEND Code of Practice and relevant legislation. Implement, maintain, and review statutory procedures as set out in regulations. Work collaboratively with parents, carers, children, and young people to co-produce Education, Health, and Care (EHC) Plans.
