Adecco are seeking a dedicated and experienced Complaints Officer on behalf of our Local Authority client to join their Repairs Complaints team. \n\nComplaints Officer - Repairs \nPublic Sector - Local Authority\nTemporary Role - currently to 30th September however extension may be possible\nFull Time - Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week\n£20.74 per hour PAYE / £26.90 per hour Umbrella\nHybrid Working - 3 days per week in office (based in Croydon)\nIT equipment provided \nASAP startThe successful candidate will be responsible for:\n\nInvestigating, resolving, and responding to complaints at Stage 1 and 2 of the Corporate complaints procedure, with a particular focus on responsive repairs.\nCoordinating and responding to Freedom of Information requests, Data Protection enquiries and complaints, Press enquiries, and Red File cases as they relate to the service.\nHandling complaints and enquiries that come through the offices of the Leader of the Council, Chief Executive, Council Executive Directors and Directors, or other Heads of Service.\nCoordinating and responding to cases referred to the Local Government Ombudsman (LGO) and enquiries from Members of Parliament and Elected Members of the Council.Requirements:\n\nPrevious experience in handling Repairs Complaints is essential.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.\nKnowledge of relevant legislation and procedures.\n\nAdecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
