We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead a large, fast-paced multi-unit catering operation at a high-profile visitor attraction.
This hands-on leadership role has full responsibility for the day-to-day management and running of the catering operation, overseeing a diverse food and beverage offer that includes quick-service kiosks, food concessions & outlets.
With retail food forming the majority of sales, you will focus on driving standards, increasing sales, managing budgets & costs, and team performance; while keeping the guest experience at the heart of every decision.
This is an exciting opportunity for a General Manager with a strong commercial mindset and experience managing multiple food outlets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Full responsibility for the day-to-day running of all catering operations across multiple units.
2. Managing budgets, forecasting, controlling costs and labour, and maximising profitability.
3. Recruiting, training, developing and motivating a large on-site team
4. Driving sales growth through new concepts, ideas and innovations.
5. Identifying commercial opportunities to improve guest spend & satisfaction.
6. Ensuring consistent delivery of high standards across food quality and service.
The Ideal Candidate
Experience in a senior catering or General Manager role managing multi-site and/or multi-unit food operations – this is essential
7. Strong background in contract catering, visitor attractions or high-volume hospitality.
8. Commercially focused with excellent budget management skills
9. Confident leader with experience managing large teams.
10. Creative mindset with the ability to bring ideas & drive innovation.
11. Strong communication skills with clients and operational teams.
12. Highly organised with attention to detail and a passion for driving improvement.
