A leading environmental and engineering consultancy is looking for a Monitoring Systems Technician to join its growing London team. As a Monitoring Systems Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and operating noise, vibration, and air quality monitoring systems. The role offers a balanced mix of site-based and office-based work, ideal for someone with a passion for technology, environmental measurement, and problem-solving.

Duties for the role of Monitoring Systems Technician include:
Preparing, testing, and installing environmental monitoring systems
Conducting site investigations and diagnosing equipment faults
Performing remote health checks and data downloads via web platforms
Processing and assessing environmental monitoring data
Preparing regular environmental reports for clients and consultants
Maintaining accurate site records and liaising with equipment suppliers
Skills and experience required for the role of Monitoring Systems Technician:
GCSEs in Maths, English, and Science (Grade 6 or above)
Knowledge of environmental monitoring (advantageous but not essential)
Strong IT and numeracy skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office
Excellent problem-solving ability and practical mindset
Full UK driving licence and willingness to work outdoors year-round
Organised, reliable, and eager to learn new technical skills
