About the Role: “Early Years Practitioner Bedford”
Working as an Early Years Practitioner or Nursery Assistant, you’ll help create a welcoming, stimulating, and safe space where children can develop through play and discovery. Every day will bring new opportunities to inspire confidence, creativity, and curiosity in the children you support.
Nursery Assistant responsibilities include:
* Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences
* Support children’s social, emotional, and educational development
* Foster positive relationships with children, families, and team members
* Encourage exploration both indoors and outdoors
* Ensure all safeguarding and health & safety standards are met
* Be an active, caring, and enthusiastic presence in the nursery setting
Ideal candidate for role as “Early Years Practitioner Bedford”
* Experience working with or caring for children (advantageous but not required)
* Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification
* Aged 17+ (to meet Ofsted staffing requirements)
* Flexible, reliable, and able to work in nurseries across Bedford and nearby areas
