Housekeeper - Magherafelt This role is perfect for someone who enjoys cleaning and keeping things organised, while also taking pride in creating a welcoming environment for others. The role involves light catering duties, including serving tea/coffee and scones/toast to staff in the mornings, providing refreshments at 3pm, catering for meetings including board meetings. This role would suit someone who’s sociable, observant, and detail-oriented, someone who remembers how people take their tea, enjoys presenting food nicely, and takes real satisfaction in creating a clean and inviting space. About the role:
1. £12.30 per hour
2. Monday to Thursday (8am - 5pm) & Friday (8am - 3pm)
3. Permanent role
What you'll be doing in this role:
4. Ensure any designated areas within the office are hygienically cleaned to the highest standard at all times
5. Ensure all housekeeping duties are carried out in an efficient and timely manner
6. General cleaning duties-hoovering, mopping, dust control, emptying bins etc.
7. Preparation and serving of beverages/ refreshments to personnel and guests
8. Provide refreshments for meetings as and when required
9. Prepare and serve breakfast/lunch for meetings as and when required
10. Keep kitchen clean and tidy at all times.
11. Keep all cleaning equipment in a safe and sanitary condition
What you'll need for this role
12. Hold a Food Safety in Catering Certificate or equivalent
13. Have a sound general knowledge of health and safety issues
14. Excellent communication, organisational, prioritisation, time-management and interpersonal skills
15. Ability to take initiative and self-manage
