What You'll Do: As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Your key responsibilities will include: Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate a small team of warehouse operatives to ensure accurate inventory handling and timely material flow. Safety First: Implement and uphold safety protocols, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications and proper storage techniques. Inventory Management: Oversee the inspection and documentation of goods inwards and out, ensuring accurate stock counts and inventory audits using Sage 200. Process Improvement: Assist in space optimisation, cost-saving initiatives, and continuous improvement of warehouse processes. Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, production, and supply chain partners to support ongoing development and manufacturing activities. Who We're Looking For: The ideal candidate will possess: Previous, proven experience in warehouse or supply management, preferably in an engineering or manufacturing environment. Previous experience in a supervisory or team lead role. A solid understanding of automotive parts handling and warehouse management systems. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a knack for motivating a team. Forklift certification and safety training (preferred).
