Summary
Leading Water Treatment company is recruiting a Water Treatment Engineer / Plumber to join their Southern team. Extensive experience with water treatment, legionella compliance and plumbing tasks is required. The role offers regional work across South East London and is suitable for an engineer / plumber seeking a better work / life balance.
The successful candidate will ideally reside within a 1 hour radius of Bromley. Consideration will be given to applicants in the following areas: Mitcham, Brixton, Peckham, Greenwich, Woolwich, Welling, Bexleyheath, Bexley, Sidcup, Chislehurst, Orpington, Dartford, Swanley, Erith, Croydon, Sutton and surrounding areas.
Experience & Qualifications
* Minimum NVQ Level 2 Plumbing qualification or equivalent industry recognised qualification.
* Good working knowledge of all domestic systems.
* Hands on experience and knowledge of remediation work.
* Experience undertaking L8 compliance tasks.
* Able to undertake lone working as well as work effectively as part of a team.
Responsibilities
* Fault finding and providing diagnosis, ensuring it is rectified efficiently.
* Dead leg removal.
* Tank installations.
* Removal, installation and re routing of PVC / Copper pipework.
* Signing off on all plumbing work upon completion.
* Closed system testing.
* Dosing and flushing of closed systems.
* Water sampling.
* Temperature monitoring.
* Servicing and installing TMVs.
* Ensuring onsite logbooks are kept up to date and using handheld PDA to produce reports.
* Working in line with HSG / ACoP L8 guidelines.
