About You

You will hold a recognised Social Work qualification and be registered with Social Work England. You have successfully completed your ASYE and have experience of frontline social work, which includes child in need and child protection. You are passionate about relational social work, committed to joining our embedded culture, and dedicated to advocating fiercely for children and supporting better childhood experiences.


Key Responsibilities

* Develop and implement effective safeguarding plans to protect children from harm.
* Collaborate with other professionals as part of a multi‑disciplinary team.
* Manage a caseload of Child in Need, Child Protection, Care Proceedings and Children Looked After.
* Participate in the team duty system, responding to concerns as they arise.
* Prioritize workload, ensuring timely visits, report writing and other deadlines.
* Engage in regular reflective supervision and set clear goals and intervention strategies.
* Maintain accurate case records and comply with department policies, procedures and guidelines, including data protection and GDPR.
