Overview
FISCUS, a local advice and crisis support charity, is seeking an experienced and motivated Community Building & Facilities Coordinator to join our expanding team in Sunderland. The role is key in ensuring a safe, welcoming, and fully operational premises for staff, volunteers, visitors and service users.
Responsibilities
* Reception and front of house duties in a busy office & community building
* Coordinating building maintenance and repairs
* Liaising with contractors and suppliers
* Supporting room bookings and community activities
* Office Administration and facilities support
* Assisting with health & safety compliance
* Helping create a positive and welcoming environment for local people accessing support, staff, volunteers and tenants
Qualifications
* Organised, reliable and proactive
* Experience in administration, reception, facilities or building coordination
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
* Community focused with a compassionate and professional approach
* Experience within the voluntary, community, or charity sector is advantageous

Salary: £26,000 to £28,000 Pro Rata
