This Daventry-based manufacturer is on the lookout for someone who knows their way around a flexographic press and is ready to hit the ground running. You’ll be joining a company that values teamwork, invests in training, and takes pride in creating a positive, supportive environment.
What you’ll be doing
* Setting up and running flexo presses to agreed specs and targets
* Mounting plates, selecting anilox, mixing inks, matching colours
* Keeping print runs consistent – registration, repeat length, colour match
* Using finishing kit like slitters, die cutters and rewinders
* Troubleshooting and problem solving to keep downtime low
* Working closely with your team to drive improvements (SMED/5S)
* Keeping everything safe, tidy and compliant
What we’re looking for
* Proven Printer knowlege with packaging, labels or similar background
* Able to work confidently on your own but happy in a team too
* Good eye for detail and a natural problem solver
* IT literate – comfortable using in-house systems and software
