Senior Civil Design Engineer About the Role: Our client, a well-established consultancy specialising in transport planning and highway design, is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to join their Fleet office. This is a great opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, including Section 278 and Section 38 highway design schemes, across both public and private sectors. Key Responsibilities: * Deliver designs on time and within budget. * Manage resource allocation to ensure efficient utilisation of the team. * Collaborate with senior management across offices to support multidisciplinary projects. * Ensure compliance with relevant authorities, statutory bodies, and design standards such as MCHW and DMRB. * Review, authorise, and provide feedback on design information and reports. * Promote innovation and continuous improvement within the team. * Adhere to Health & Safety legislation, particularly CDM regulations, and actively manage risks.
