Role Overview:
We are looking for an organised and detail-oriented Planning Coordinator to support the Planning function within our Supply Chain division. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic manufacturing environment, coordinating multiple priorities, and ensuring the smooth execution of production and material plans.
Working closely within the Planning team, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate schedules, monitoring material availability, and supporting the efficient delivery of customer orders. You’ll help ensure that forecasts, production plans, and inventory levels remain aligned to business objectives, while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance accuracy and efficiency across the planning process.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support in delivering accurate build schedules and shipping plans to meet customer and business requirements.
2. Monitor production and material status daily and communicate potential risks ensuring deadlines are achieved.
3. Coordinate with multiple teams to align plans with material availability and manufacturing capacity.
4. Analyse planning reports, metrics, and dashboards to inform decisions.
5. Contribute to the continuous improvement of planning processes, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
6. Support the development and implementation of risk mitigation or contingency actions.
7. Collaborate with colleagues across global sites sharing accurate data and promote best practices.
8. Actively contribute to a positive, collaborative working culture that supports learning, growth, and operational excellence.
Essential Criteria:
9. Experience working in supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
10. Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
11. Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities ensuring deadlines are met.
12. Confident communicator able to interact with both internally and externally.
13. Able to make informed decisions confidently and take responsibility for outcomes.
14. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Windows operating systems.
15. Demonstrates initiative and a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
Desirable Criteria:
16. Experience working with Oracle systems or similar ERP/MRP platforms.
17. Exposure to functions including Production, Purchasing, Engineering, or Materials Control.
18. Demonstrated proficiency in Japanese to support effective communication with global colleagues.
19. Prior experience in an electronics manufacturing environment would be advantageous
