Employability Skills and Training Manager Salary - £44,075 - £49,282 (Grade 7) Hours: 37 hours per week Contract type - Full time- permanent Work Style - Working from Adult Education Wolverhampton main site and across community venues City of Wolverhampton Council is looking for an experienced and motivated Employability Skills and Training Manager to join our Adult Education service. In this key role, you will lead the development and delivery of high-quality employability and skills programmes, supporting unemployed and economically inactive residents to progress into work. You will manage and support a team of teaching and support staff, driving excellence in teaching, learning and assessment while ensuring strong outcomes for learners, including attendance, achievement and progression. You will work collaboratively with a wide range of partners across the public, private and voluntary sectors to develop responsive provision aligned to local labour market needs. The role also involves curriculum planning, quality improvement, performance management and contributing to Ofsted readiness and service development. We are looking for someone with strong leadership skills, experience of managing adult learning provision, and a passion for supporting individuals to achieve their potential.
