Job Description: Senior Test Centre Associate. Our DVSA (Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency) programme provides secure assessment of prospective new drivers for the Department of Transport. Through more than 70 test centres, we provide 1.7 million+ Driving Theory Tests a year across several regions of the UK. Our delivery provides the infrastructure and processes required to test each candidate’s driving theory knowledge and hazard perception, ensuring the integrity and compliance of each test in accordance with the assessment standards set by the DVSA.
Role and Responsibilities
* Invigilation of exams and the efficient delivery of tests to participants, ensuring adherence to relevant procedures and guidelines.
* Invigilation duties and, during your shift, management of the Test Centre as required.
* Strict adherence to the programme’s requirements and Reed in Partnership’s policies and procedures.
* Check candidates’ ID documents and book them in on the system.
* Supervision and invigilation of tests.
* Delivery of site opening and/or closing procedures.
* Coach and support Test Centre Associates.
* Review of the test centre schedule to identify the number of candidates booked in and organise how any non-standard accommodations will be delivered.
* Notify the DVSA HR team of employee absences to allow alternative cover to be arranged.
* Provide management support to the Test Centre Manager as required.
* Handle and report incidents that could impact candidate testing in line with incident management procedures.
Work Schedule
Flexible working pattern (either part-time or occasional shifts) with potential for additional hours. Shifts may include:
* Mornings – 8.00am to 1.00pm/2.00pm
* Afternoons – 12.30pm/1.00pm to 5.30pm/6.30pm
* Full day – 8.00am to 5.30pm/6.30pm
* Evenings – 4.30pm/5.00pm to 8.30pm/9.30pm
* Afternoon & Evenings – 12.00pm/1.00pm to 8.30pm/9.30pm
This role operates at the Dundee Theory Test Centre and is subject to demand. The ideal candidate must be fully flexible to pick up shifts across all operating days, evenings and weekends.
