Our client is looking for a Penetration Tester to join their team on a six‑month initial contract, working onsite three days a week in Wokingham and the remainder remote. The role is serviced through an umbrella agreement and requires an active SC clearance.
Responsibilities
* Perform penetration testing using tools such as Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap, and others.
* Configure network devices, firewalls, IDS/IPS devices and wireless technologies.
* Document findings in detailed reports, providing clear recommendations for remediation using Capgemini’s in‑house reporting tool.
* Stay current with security standards and regulatory compliance such as GDPR, ISO 27001 and PCI DSS.
Qualifications & Experience
* 2–3 years of IT security experience to CTM level.
* Relevant degree or postgraduate qualification.
* Test certifications such as CREST or CyberScheme.
* Experience in cloud security (AWS, Azure).
* Strong organisational skills and ability to thrive in a pressurised environment.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Willingness to work as part of a team, share knowledge and collaborate.
* Ability to travel to Capgemini customer locations.
