You’ll collaborate closely with our Immunology Laboratory Manager, Biomedical Scientists and Consultant Immunologists to deliver a high-quality, safe and efficient Immunology that prioritises patient care and customer satisfaction.
As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to deepen your specialist knowledge and skills within an IBMS registered training facility dedicated to education, training and clinical excellence. Please note that interviews will be conducted on-site due to the practical nature of the assessments. Unfortunately, remote interviews cannot be accommodated.
You will be responsible for supervising the Immunology laboratory and assist in the development of staff within a progressive department where participation in developing our service is actively encouraged.
You should be HCPC registered with an appropriate MSc, IBMS HSD and/or be FIBMS (or equivalent) and well versed in the workings of a routine Immunology laboratory. You will also need to be enthusiastic and highly motivated, computer literate and familiar with working to UKAS standards.
The successful candidate may need to participate in the 24/7 rota for the Clinical Biochemistry Laboratory. Full training programme would be completed if required.
