The Opportunity We are looking for a motivated and organised individual to join our Marketing, Communications & PR team as a Marketing, Communications & PR Assistant. In this varied and rewarding role, you will provide high-quality administrative and operational support to help deliver impactful marketing campaigns, events and communication activities. You will assist with the organisation, promotion and delivery of key events such as Open Days, corporate events and awards ceremonies, ensuring they run smoothly and provide a positive experience for visitors. Alongside this, you will support the delivery of marketing campaigns and promotional activities in line with the College's marketing plan, helping to engage a variety of audiences. You will also contribute to digital content creation by assisting with photography, design and content collation, as well as helping to manage and update social media channels and support wider digital communications. Your role will involve contributing to press office activity and supporting the production of high-quality publications and promotional materials, including writing and proofreading content for different audiences. Working closely with internal departments and external partners, you will help raise the College's profile, while also evaluating marketing activities and events by gathering feedback and supporting performance reporting. In addition, you will provide general administrative support to the team and assist with sourcing promotional materials from external suppliers. The role requires a flexible approach, with occasional evening and weekend work to support events. About You For this role, we're looking for someone in marketing or communications, and who enjoys working on a variety of projects in a fast-paced environment. You'll need to balance creativity with organisation - producing engaging content one moment and coordinating an event or campaign the next. You'll be confident using social media and digital tools to manage content, monitor engagement and analyse results. You'll also be able to work independently when required, while contributing effectively as part of a team, showing self-motivation and the ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines. Strong communication skills, combined with a confident, persuasive and approachable manner, will allow you to build positive working relationships with colleagues, students and external partners. You'll be enthusiastic and flexible, able to adapt to changing priorities and willing to work evenings or weekends as required.
