Job Role – Early Years Practitioner
Location – St. Helen’s
Start Date – ASAP
Salary – £92 per day (based on a 6.5 hour working day)

Responsibilities
* Provide a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children aged 0–5
* Support the planning and delivery of engaging and age-appropriate activities
* Observe, assess, and record children’s progress in line with the EYFS framework
* Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents/carers, and colleagues
* Promote children’s personal, social, emotional, and physical development
* Work effectively as part of a dedicated team to maintain high standards of care
* Ensure all safeguarding and health & safety procedures are followed at all times
What we require
* Hold a recognised childcare qualification at Level 2 or above (e.g. CACHE, NVQ, BTEC)
* Previous experience working in an early years setting
* Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Warm, caring, and patient approach to working with young children
* A commitment to promoting equal opportunities and safeguarding
* At least 6 months experience within the last 2 years ideally within Early Years
* Enhanced DBS check on the online update service or willing to get one
* Ability to provide two professional childcare references within the last 2 years
