What The Day Will Look Like
* Lead the claims process collaborating with our network offices while working with large financial institutions from all over the world.
* Manage first notification of loss for D&O, PI and Crime claims.
* Negotiate and liaise with markets, clients, placement teams, specialists, network offices, underwriters and appointed authorities (loss adjusters, lawyers, etc).
* Conduct data analysis to establish the claims history for a particular client or business portfolio, and identify trends and patterns in claims.
* Negotiate payment and settlement of claims with clients and underwriters.
* Coordinate discussions and, where appropriate, meetings to ensure superior communication between the client, underwriter and their representatives concerning proposed settlements.
* Engage with the Head of Financial Lines Advocacy in the strategy to conclude contentious claims.
* Attend meetings with international clients and brokers in London.

Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success
* Experience dealing with claims from first notification of loss to resolution.
* Knowledge of Financial Lines, D&O and PI coverage analysis and the confidence to coordinate and initiate discussions with networks, clients, underwriters and experts.
* Experience with the CLASS and ECF Processing system (preferable).
* Proficient in Word and Excel.
* Strong interpersonal skills.
* Background can be from either a broker or insurer.
