This local authority based in the North West of London is seeking an experienced candidate to join a supportive team of social workers involved in carrying out strength-based Care Act Assessments (including for carers) reviews and to set up creative and imaginative care and support plans designed to meet assessed eligible needs.
You will be carrying out Mental Capacity Assessments and associated risk assessments, which will be a critical part of your daily work. You should have a working knowledge and ability to complete assessments using the NHS checklist and be able to represent customers and social care in the Decision Support Tool process.
Additionally, you should be able to carry out effective safeguarding enquiries and demonstrate sound knowledge and understanding of safeguarding principles and practices.
