Base pay range
The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of accounting principles and will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, including preparation of journals, managing control accounts, and performing regular balance sheet reconciliations

Description
* Manage all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
* Monitor cash flow and manage company investments.
* Prepare the Monthly Management Accounts Pack
* Prepare and post revenue journal entries in accordance with established accounting standards and company policies.
* Maintain and reconcile control accounts (e.g, revenue, cash, credit cards etc.,).
* Conduct a range of monthly balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies promptly.
* Assist in the preparation of financial reports and month-end/year-end closing activities.
* Support internal and external audits by providing relevant documentation and explanations.
* Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
* Liaise with other departments to ensure financial data integrity and resolve any inconsistencies.
* Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis as required.
* Comply with internal controls and financial policies
Profile
A successful Finance Manager should have:
* Solid knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping and accounting standards.
* Experience preparing journals and performing balance sheet reconciliations.
* Understanding of control accounts and their role in financial reporting.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data manipulation.
* Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Good organisational and time management skills.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
