We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant to lead the delivery of a wide range of pension projects and services for a leading Pensions Advisory. This is a key leadership role, responsible for setting strategic direction, ensuring commercial viability, and maintaining the highest standards of governance and client service.
You’ll work across multiple clients and teams, managing complex pension schemes and inspiring your team to deliver exceptional results. The role combines strategic oversight with hands-on delivery, covering governance, risk management, and supplier management.
About the role
* Lead day-to-day management of pension schemes, ensuring compliance and best practice.
* Advise trustee boards on governance, risk, and strategic objectives.
* Manage relationships with external advisers and service providers.
* Drive commercial efficiency and profitability across projects.
* Provide expert knowledge on pensions legislation and industry developments.
* Line manage and mentor junior colleagues, fostering growth and team effectiveness. Support business development through networking, bids, and tenders.
About You
* You will have deep pensions expertise, strong commercial acumen, and exceptional relationship-building skills.
* Extensive knowledge of pensions governance and legislation. Proven experience in managing complex pension schemes and consulting projects.
* Ability to manage budgets and ensure commercial viability.
* A proactive approach to business development and networking.
