Role Overview This position plays a key role within a complex, multi-entity group structure, supporting financial reporting, treasury accounting, and intercompany activity across international operations. The role will work closely with finance stakeholders across jurisdictions to ensure accurate reporting and strong financial controls. Core Responsibilities Group Reporting & Stakeholder DeliveryContribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles at group levelSupport the consolidation process and ensure consistency across reporting entitiesDeliver timely and accurate financial information to senior stakeholders and investorsAssist with reporting requirements linked to ownership and investment structuresTreasury & Financing AccountingMaintain accounting records for group-wide financing arrangements, including:Intra-group borrowingsThird-party debt instrumentsInterest accruals and calculationsTreasury-related transactionsSupport accounting and reporting for structured financing instruments such as listed debtEnsure compliance with financing covenants and reporting obligationsIntercompany & Cross-Border TransactionsManage and oversee intercompany accounting across multiple jurisdictionsEnsure all intercompany balances reconcile and discrepancies are resolved promptlyAccount for funding flows, dividend distributions, and cost rechargesAssist with transfer pricing support and documentation where requiredEntity-Level Accounting (UK)Lead accounting activities for a UK-based holding entityPrepare periodic management accounts and perform balance sheet reconciliationsEnsure appropriate accounting treatment for complex and non-routine transactionsSupport statutory reporting obligations where applicableAudit, Controls & ComplianceAct as a key contact for external auditors on relevant entitiesMaintain and improve internal control frameworksSupport statutory filings and broader regulatory compliance requirementsProcess Improvement & SystemsContribute to finance transformation and continuous improvement initiativesSupport the rollout and standardisation of processes across the groupWork within an established ERP environment, identifying opportunities for optimisationCollaboration & Stakeholder ManagementPartner with internal and external stakeholders, including:Regional finance teamsCentral group finance functionTreasury specialistsExternal auditors and advisorsSenior managementBuild strong working relationships across geographically diverse teamsCandidate Profile QualificationsProfessionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ICAS or equivalent)Strong grounding in technical accounting principlesExperienceExperience operating in a multi-entity or group environmentExposure to financing structures, intercompany accounting, and group reportingComfortable working in an international, fast-paced setting
