NHS Lanarkshire is announcing Modern Apprenticeships in Healthcare and Healthcare Support within Lanarkshire Podiatry Department.
Key Details
* Locations: Based in Lanarkshire.
* Duration: Fixed-term positions for 12 months starting from 20th January 2026. Part-time hours available with pro-rata salary.
* Eligibility: Applicants aged between 16 to 24 years old on 1st December 2025, or up to 29 years for applicants with a disability or those with care experience. Must demonstrate proficiency at SCQF level 5/National 5 level.
What We Offer

Duties as a Healthcare Support Worker may include
* Diabetes foot screening
* Assist Podiatrist with nail surgery
* Assist Podiatrist with domiciliary visits
* Stock control
* Record card archiving/mail duties
* Helping patients to move around
* Making patients feel comfortable
No Prior Experience Necessary
This Apprenticeship welcomes applicants with limited work experience, including school leavers.
