Advanced Practitioner - Practice Educator Hourly Rate: £40-42 Location: Peterborough Working Arragments: 3 days per week in the office About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Advanced Practitioner to join our Social Work Academy at Peterborough City Council. This is a pivotal role supporting the development of newly qualified social workers (ASYE) and mentoring less experienced team members. You will play a key part in shaping the future of social work practice through supervision, coaching, and assessment. Key Responsibilities: Provide supervision and Practice Educator support to ASYE social workers under the direction of the Team Manager. Carry a complex caseload appropriate to your qualifications, experience, and competencies, with a high degree of autonomy and regular supervision. Coach and mentor less experienced staff, promoting best practice and continuous professional development. Work collaboratively with service users and their families to assess needs and deliver appropriate services. Ensure all work is carried out within the legislative and procedural framework of Peterborough City Council.
